One Potato Review
Sentimental but not treacly. Simply one man’s life, with the park as a denominator: from the time he was being wheeled in a stroller and “liked to feel the warm sun on his face,” till the time he’s an old man, when the sun on his face stays the same, but he is a spectator finally, gifted with the perspective to better appreciate the life going on all around him. With bicycles and marbles, family and model sailboats. The light at the end of that tunnel – call it wisdom? – has never looked more rewarding.
