That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown

by Cressida Cowell

One Potato Review

Larky and delirious, with a stubborn heart. “One day, Emily Brown and Stanley were launching themselves into outer space to look for alien life-forms,” announces the beginning; Stanley is a stuffed rabbit, by the way. There’s a “silly naughty” queen who gets a little bit grating, but the scenes with Emily and Stanley cut and pasted into exotic landscapes – the Amazon Rain Forest, the Sahara, snorkeling off the Great Barrier Reef – are sufficiently impulsive it doesn’t really matter where this ends up, which is back in space incidentally, barring an unfortunate sequel.
