One Potato Review
Quiet and wondrous. This is the account of a random encounter told from the perspective of an alien traveling alone over galaxies, and polar ice fields and pyramids, then finally a grassy field where one of Kitamura’s saucer-eyed specimens is out chasing butterflies. There’s also a tiny, staring rabbit in all of that acreage – another mysterious detail by an artist who is not afraid to assume we will notice. For very young readers, a blessing.
