The Books
One Potato Review
In which this author and illustrator, who is also, believably, a designer of toys, applies his gifts for geometry and striking turns of color to the story of a doll thrown out the window who travels the curve of the earth by means of a motorcycle, truck, honking bird, torpedo, volcano, umbrella and many other unlikely conveyances with an equanimity that recalls Remy Charlip’s iconic Fortunately. Simple and playful and accessible, as any trip around the world should surely be.
