The Books
One Potato Review
I see homeless people. For that reason alone, this book is worth reading – a truthful, slightly crazy portrait of a guy pushing his life around in a cart – but this story also demonstrates a completely believable transaction between the really, truly unfortunate and the really, finally not. If somebody has to sell you the message here, chances are you weren’t buying in the first place, but the not-entirely-predictable resolution of this very short story remains a moment of unteachable grace.
