Here’s hoping the Charlie & Lola gravy train might somewhere grind to a halt so Child can spend more time creating her highly stylized and extremely funny stories for characters like Hubert Horatio Bartle Bobton-Trent, and the pesky rat of this title, debating the merits of domesticity. Pro: your belongings are not regularly emptied and driven off in a trucks. Cons: you have to wear a little sweater and your owner calls you Tiddles.
