The Books
One Potato Review
This is what a book for early readers can be, but very rarely is: verbally jolly, and architecturally fascinating even (especially?) for parents who may have to revisit these curling, converging highways many, many times. There’s a lot of really cool stuff to look at here: smokestacks and surprising pyramids, a bird, a robot, a granny leaning over their dashboards, an umbrella taking itself out for a walk. And tricks of perspective and unexpected shading: nobody’s taking anything for granted in these pages.
