Here is a story about being stuck inside from the rain, told from the perspective of a poor little rich kid absently kicking a ball around his mansion before discovering a key, a trunk and a secret passage to an island full of game-playing children who may or may not exist outside the privacy of his imagination. Perfectly suited to unmediated exploration, though some parents may want to tag along for a ride.
