The Books

In Front of My House

One Potato Review

Ostensibly an exercise in prepositions (”on a little hill, behind a brown fence, under a big oak tree”), except this journey ends up taking you through some pretty surprising crossroads (the belly of a wolf, for one), all the while careening between caves and seas and alien habitats, then back, of course, to home. Even diverting as this proves, the bad news is it’s probably about twice as long as it needs to be. The good news is here are two books for the price, and initiative, of one. Sly and gratifying.
