One Potato Review

A companion piece to Baker’s Window, but different. Notes the author in a postscript, “Communities are finding ways their streets can once again become part of people’s sense of home.” And, yeah, that is one way to look at the changes through the window of this book. But this is also the story of one girl’s early life – of projects and interests and friendships, and of all of the little transitions we think we might have anticipated, but never did. There’s no text here, but plenty of texture: the pictures in this book appear to have been collaged and constructed with an architect’s eye – and a biographer’s – for all three dimensions.
