The Books

One Potato Review

One of the many remarkable things about this book is the way that it actually makes you sleepy. Intentionally though: from the yawning and tooth-brushing and drawbridge drawing of the early pages, to the utter peacefulness of sprawling, dozing communities toward the end, where the colors turn gradually darker, and many people gradually become one, and that person is you. Oh, here’s another remarkable thing: that fascinations worthy of an engineer, an architect, a musician, and a zoologist should ever have gone buzzing around in exactly one person, who was furthermore blessed with the good humor and artistic dexterity to be able to share them.
